The Age of Sea Monsters, known as the Cetiocene, takes place 200 million years after the dawn of complex life. Deep within the ocean, life shelters from the chilling temperatures of the surface by utilizing the ever circulating currents. Though life has created a foothold throughout the seas, for those who seek to make the transition to land there is a difficult task ahead as conditions are not ideal; The continents have started separating before life has had a chance to clamber its way onto land, this all means landfall must take place multiple times if all continents are to be colonized.
