Student Projects

I emphasize experiential learning in my teaching practice. I also think it is important to involve undergraduate students in research. I encourage my students to write papers and present at conferences. The following are examples of how I engage students in research and service to society.

I value the importance of community-scientist partnership in research and teaching. Here are three examples:

Energy Audit

A student using a pitot tube to measure the air flow of the Cuneo Hall at Loyola Unviversity Chicago.

Acid Rain

A student testing the pH value of the soil on the Loess Plateau in Shanxi Province, China.

Ozone and Plants

Selected Student Presentations

Renewable Energy
