Mostaccioli are sweet diamond-shaped characteristic of Oristano. They have ancient origins, probably influenced by the Arabs for the presence of cinnamon. The Ministry of Agricultural Food and Forestry Policies has included them in the list of Traditional Agri-food Products of the Sardinia Region (PAT).
We propose them both alone and in a revisitation of tiramisu...

Amaretti Crucco are part of the story of Oristano: some of the youngest have heard of it, someone not really young remembers having them in the house and having them soaked in the vernaccia, someone else "older" still perfectly remembers the flavor along with some anecdote related to them. They were known in Oristano, Sardinia and even in the rest of Italy since the end of 1800!!
In the 70s, with the closing of the pastry, they disappeared from the commercial scene. But the recipe was jealously preserved for years by the owners and their descendants and the amaretti remained the sweets of the great family occasions.
We are proud to propose them today in their ancient recipe, with that unique and unmistakable flavor of the desserts of the past!
Obviously accompanied by a good glass of vernaccia!
