VERTEX is a 4v4 third-person multiplayer level-design prototype built in Unity.
The map is designed around vertical combat, player movement, cover, multiple routes, and positional decision-making.
Players can move between different elevations, use environmental cover, traverse through different routes, and use elevated positions to gain tactical advantages during combat.
Note: This is currently a level-design blockout/prototype. The focus is on spatial design, player flow, combat spaces, and multiplayer readability rather than final art, enemy AI, or complete multiplayer implementation.
🧠 Design Intent
Create a multiplayer map that encourages constant movement and repositioning
Give players meaningful choices between high ground, low ground, and alternate routes
Create opportunities for flanking and counter-flanking
Use cover to break long sightlines and create safer movement
