How you can communicate with the Pitts:

You can contact and talk with your professor directly in the following ways:

• Canvas Inbox (linked in the global menu; please allow 24 hours for a reply, 48 on Fri-Sun)

• Via ConferZoom office hours TBD Check announcement in Canvas

• Private meeting (by appointment only)

• Using the “Ask the Pitts?” Canvas Q&A (allow 24 hours for a response, 48 hours on Fri-Sun)

How the Pitts will contact and communicate with you:

• Canvas Inbox

• Announcements (minimum once per week)

• Q&A discussion (as needed)

• Whole-class or individual feedback on discussions and assignments

• Gradebook feedback on assignment and activity (weekly)

• Reminders about important events and due date (Canvas Inbox) (important deadlines)

How you can contact another student/other students:

• Canvas inbox

• Using the Class Q&A discussion

• Using Canvas chat independently or in Pre- post -chat session

• Group page

• Other ways as arranged individually between students

How will we all communicate with one another:

• Via the discussions and Group projects.

• Live lectures (minimum weekly but also as needed)

• Various surveys.

Please Note: That if the course is asynchronous. There are no required Zoom meetings, although highly recommended that if you miss the meeting, you access the recorded sessions via Canvas (Click the Zoom Icon). If the class is hybrid or synchronous: You are expected to show up and participate as described in the course syllabus and catalog.
