ANIMATIONS
I often extend my illustration work into animation as well because of the medium's scope to express a character's emotions in ways that the static can't always reach.
A minute long animation retelling the short story 'The Bloody Chamber' by Angela Carter based around the fairytale of Bluebeard. The animation focused on strong use of colour and light to tell the story of the Bride.
This short animation shows the transformation of the character Eglė, from Lithuanian legend, into a fir tree. The animation depicts the mournful changing of a body limb by limb.
I took a short clip from the podcast Dungeons and Daddies, filmed myself acting out the dialogue and used the movements to create a short animation of two characters talking.
