I am an Associate Professor of Management at Wayne State University in the Mike Ilitch School of Business, where my research is focused on work-life role management and workforce aging. I teach undergraduate and MBA classes in human resource management. I was previously an Assistant Professor of Human Resource Management with the School of Business at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh.
I completed my entire education at Michigan State University, with a Bachelor's of Science in Psychology and Linguistics in 2007, a Masters in Human Resources and Labor Relations in 2009, and a PhD in Industrial Relations and Human Resources in 2014. I have experience with consulting projects on various HR topics including grant writing for training programs, job analysis, selection process validation, and adverse impact analysis.
I'm a member of the Academy of Management (HR, OB, DEI, and RM divisions) and the Work and Family Researchers Network.
I currently serve on the Executive Board of the Work and Family Researchers Network and as an Associate Editor for the Journal of Business Research.
