How to Practice Chinese with the Flashcards?

The purpose is using this Puzzle game to practice a piece chunk of Chinese phrases. After when you get familiar with the game and you can reuse the same chunks in different phrases and sentences in the future.

 Flashcards 

  • 1 flashcard template 

  • 4 flashcards with a different object.

  • Print out the template flashcards. Practice pairing the template with each of the flashcards to make short sentences and read aloud with your children. 


You can decide what to use the flashcards else, it depends on your purposes. For example, to play the “listen and see” flashcards as a memory game. It is a simple and fun game in order to help your children remember the object better. You might need to print out two sets of “listen or see“ flashcards. Put the cards on the table and have your children match them as quickly as possible.

Key phrase symbol  ( ‘listen the speech.......’ 'watch TV.........'’)Please note: You can replay this game after you and your child get familiar with the game. Only use Chinese during the game at first, adding one more challenge each time. After a period of time playing this game, the child can develop their knowledge and start speaking in complete sentences before they proceed to the next activities.

Flashcard Game 

Here is a RELATED game, if you and your children watched and learned the lesson, you are ready to play with your kids of Chinese basic "verb " vocabulary" at home.

How to play run card game?

Making two group of team to play together. Each one take several cards. The first one will show one of his/her card and say the activity on the card “我跑..,誰/谁跑......?”. If another one has the “我跑....” card, he/she can show the card and say the activity on the card “我跑....,誰/谁跑.......?。

”Keep playing like this until the one gets rid of all of his/her cards and he/she wins.  Take turns several times if they like. You should print out the picture below ( you can laminated them to use and keep it longer).
