The art of Chinese paper cutting dates back to the 6th century when it was used as a way to decorate windows and doors during festivals or weddings. It has evolved over time and today is often used as an expression of creativity or as a decorative item such as wall hangings or greeting cards. The precise cuts and complex patterns are created using scissors, knives, or other specialized tools.

While our designs do not have to be intricate or complex, it's amazing how we can create a beautiful paper crafts in minutes. This craft is better for older children, as it is challenging to make, they'll need to plan and design it at the beginning, and it requires scissors to cut the paper as well. But, paper cutting is a simple and easy-to-learn step-by-step fun activity for all ages.
