Our Philosophy 

At Pine View Farm, our poultry program is rooted in purpose, preservation, and practicality. We focus on heritage breeds, working to both preserve and enhance the qualities that make them historically important and valuable to small farms. Our birds are selected for structure, temperament, productivity, and overall soundness — traits that matter in the show hall and on the homestead.

We aim to raise well‑rounded birds: chickens that carry strong heritage characteristics, stand confidently in APA‑sanctioned shows, and still thrive as dependable layers and foragers. Whether a bird is destined for the exhibition ring or a family flock, we breed for balance, longevity, and usefulness.

Our goal is simple — to produce poultry that honors the past, performs in the present, and strengthens the future of homestead and heritage flocks across Indiana.
