I just wanted to reach out and say that I'm a huge fan of your products. My entire system is now made up of all Pine Tree Audio interconnects and cables. The latest being the Shadow Ribbon speaker cables and the Rainbow Ribbon jumpers. Right out of the box, I noticed how quiet the background noise is and how clean the sound signature is with my system. The high end got much cleaner, and the mid bass distortion I use to hear was gone. The midrange is very palpable with greater authority, and the bass is tight. Instruments in time and space had lots of air and seemed to be placed right where they were intendede by the engineering mix and artist. I've been using a different brand of speaker cables from 1995 all these years, and I should have upgraded much sooner. I can only imagine these sounding better once I put some hours on them. The banana connectors and spades are also of better build quality than what I was using. Everything about Pine Tree audio, and theiir products is an upgrade to me, and for a cost that doesn't break the bank. Thank you for your amazing service.

Video Review of Pine Tree Audio Kinetic Speaker Cables on "How I Hear It" by Claudio Martini

I’ve been having fun burning in BlackGround XLR’s I ordered a few month ago. They’re situated between a Denafrips Pontus II and Sonic Frontiers Line 1 preamp and are exactly what I was looking for: the type of cable that you forget exists by matching the neutral, natural sound that is the goal of the system. These cables let the music speak for its self!

I’m a happy returning customer of Pine Tree Audio.  Pine Tree offers amazing products and Jesse provides excellent work and customer service beyond reproach. It is a pleasure working with Jesse and I consider myself lucky to be involved with Pine Tree.

Jesse, I just wanted to drop you a message and say that your grounding cables are working out real well. A serious thank you. I believe this is my third order that pretty well completes this project. We are using them on a high end audio kit to connect all component chassis back to a star ground point on a Shunyata Research Denali v2 mains noise reduction unit and it is working out most effectively lowering the overall noise floor and revealing some nice micro detail and dynamics. Very life like music. This system uses some exotica like vacuum tube OTL mono block amplifiers and field-coil horn based loudspeakers that are 98db @ 8Ω but running at 16Ω. There are 56 NOS vacuum tubes between the turntable and our ears. I appreciate your quality and find these cables a very nice value as well. Win win!

The Stealth power cable has higher performance than any other cable I have tried near or under its price, used on 300 W active REL subwoofer T/9x. It also sounds better than power cables more than twice as expensive.

This cable really opened the top end frequencies in my system with a very balanced midrange (Vocals range) that was not too much or too little, it really was like lifting a veil away. The sound also has really clean, great timing on the bass response that really helped my system. My system was almost slightly bass heavy and laid back on the highs with an over emphasized upper midrange that came across as boring but these tightened the bass and balanced the audio top to bottom. Thx Pinetree!

Wow!..these are real audiophile cables made carefully and with the customer in mind, they look so much better in your hands and they feel tight and with highest quality; solid connections. ....just burning them in -but right out of the box- they sound and image very well! Highly recommend! 5 Stars!

Jesse created something very special for me by upgrading his standard passive stereo preamp (SP2) to a skys the limit dual mono version using all pure silver wiring and ETI female jacks. This is the Invisible Man of preamps. One feature that was not custom, but is greatly appreciated nevertheless is the mute position in the middle of the toggle switch. This allows me to instantly shut off the sound when I go to change a record instead of the burdensome task of turning a knob. Don't laugh, you are probably just as lazy as me...

Sonic truth is a subjective matter, and a source of great debate between audiophiles. To some, an emphasis in the midrange region is sonic truth. For others, it could be thunderous bass, or a sparkly treble. Perhaps it could be some combination all of these, or it could be none of these, as the possibilities are truly endless.

Regardless, most audiophiles are going build or tailor their systems to best address their preferences. It the case of yours truly, I prefer My system to behave like a chameleon, as it changes depending on what is played on it. For Hip-hop, i.e., Run-DMC, I want to feel that bass in my chest. For vocals i.e., Take 6, I want to hear their distinctive voices, as well as their breathing when they come too close to the microphone. For R&B/Soul i.e., Patti Labelle, I want the sheer power of her voice to affect me in such a way that makes me pause what I am doing, to simple listen in awe. Of course, one of the most important parts of any system is it’s cabling, which lead me to Jesse at Pine Tree Audio.

Jesse believes in sonic truth, and that belief is reflected in the cables that he builds by hand for his customers. His cables do not introduce a detectable sonic signature, as they simply allow you to hear and experience your music the way as the artist and your system intend. As someone who has owned cables by MIT, LAT, AcousticZen, Audioquest, Nordost, Transparent, and Supra, Pine Tree Audio cables compete with and surpass several of them, and that is before you factor in the price.

And hey, while it’s your wallet and not mine, I simply do not believe that a cable should cost more than a house or a car payment. How does Jesse produce such an amazing product at a reasonable price? He uses sound engineering practices, and can back up these measurements on a white paper, rather than installing a network of resistors and capacitors on a cable to alter the signal.

His cables also generate a cumulative effect when multiple cables are used in your system. I have a matching pair of single-ended interconnects, a DC power cable, and an AC power cable for my subwoofer. All of the cables are shielded, and the addition of each cable made a significant improvement in sound quality. These cables are both quiet and neutral, and simply offer you an unbiased perception into your musical collection. You will discover insights and nuances in your music that will both surprise and delight you, as well as recordings that you thought you knew well, will transport you too someplace new. If this is an experience you desire from your system, consider a custom cable from Pine Tree Audio.

Wow! These Iso-Quad Speaker Cables are great. I was wondering if they would show a difference compared to the custom ones from you I already have, but for my setup, these are the ticket and awesome! combined with the interconnects, the sound is smooth bottom to top, I meant BOTTOM to top! The bass is not boomy, just deep and well defined. Kudos!

"In comparing these cables (Kinetic Speaker Cables) with the Audioquest Rocket 11 cables (which I was very pleased with), I hear more inner detail, more low-bass punch, agility and warmth, and more openness overall. Absolutely love them so far!"

This is a review of a custom Iso-Braid AC Power cable, and custom DC power cable.

Hello fellow audiophiles. I have a wireless setup for a REL subwoofer. While the transmitter and the receiver units are state of the art, the wall wart power supplies that accompanied them most certainly are not. It’s most likely that a wall wart is introducing noise into your system, which is not a desirable outcome. I decided to replace both wall wart power supplies with high quality ones. (eBay anyone?) After placing the order for the power supplies, I contacted Jesse to order suitable cabling for them. After sending him the specifications of the units, he suggested a shielded Iso-braid power cable and a shielded DC cable for the units. He completed them and had them in the mail in a few days. I so appreciate his rapid turnaround time, as I am not the most patient audiophile in regards to upgrades. I received the cables, and enthusiastically connected them to the new power supplies. Jesse’s cables sound amazing out of the box, and as they break in (around 100 hours) they evolve from outstanding to amazing, like a fine wine. The bass is now deeper, without any loss of definition. I am talking about bass that will massage your feet, as well as any other body part on the floor. And if you are a fan of Godzilla movies (Godzilla vs. Kong), you will feel the impact of that battle in your chest. Jesse is a brilliant numbers guy, and his cables are a testament to his skill-set. I have voltage meters on the power supplies and the power cables are stable at 5.00 volts with zero fluctuations. Let’s revisit the before mentioned noise. These cables are both quiet and neutral, and simply offer you an impartial insight into your musical experience. Air around voices, a finger plucking a string on a guitar, the reverb inside a studio, an expansive soundstage where you can place the singers and the musicians, and the discovery of new artifacts in recordings that you thought you knew. If this is an experience you desire from your system, consider a handmade custom cable from Pine Tree Audio.

Easily the best customer service I've ever had in my entire life. We were emailed each other back and forth at 9pm trying to figure out what I needed to make my vintage speakers work (missing a jumper/bridge that I didn't know existed) and what kind of cables to use with my Rega amp. Everything arrived less than 48 hours later... amazing! THANK YOU!

"Jesse at Pine Tree built some cables. I tried them when I installed a new-to-me Neurochrome Modulus 286 LE amp. Massive improvements in my reference system. More clean power. Cool interconnects in my overly complicated path. I love the sound. My wife even noticed the big change in resolution and clarity. This is a review of a custom Ghost – Braid RCA.

"Hello fellow audiophiles. I have secret to share with you. There is a gentleman named Jesse, that makes amazing and affordable audio cables by hand from Pine Tree Audio.  My main speakers are the Totem Model 1 Signatures, with a recently acquired REL S/810 subwoofer. I run the sub wireless using the REL Airship. The receiver unit was connected to the sub using a Tributaries A3 RCA cable. It sounded really good, however I felt that the REL had much more to offer, as the REL offers support to the midrange as well.

Because of this midrange support, I didn’t want an interconnect that focused solely on the bass, as I also wanted midrange improvement. Additionally, another requirement I had was shielding. My subwoofer is located about two feet from a wireless router, and with the advent of 5G, I feel that all audio cables should have some form of shielding to minimize interference from outside signals. As I was looking for an upgrade, I came across an ad for the Ghost Cable from Pine Tree Audio.

I looked at some other cables, however there was something special that stood out about this one. So, I left a message with some questions. To my surprise, Jesse returned my call within the hour. I explained what I was looking for, and Jesse offer to create a custom Ghost cable that was 14AWG and shielded. I received the Ghost from him in just a couple of days, and immediately installed it.

While I was expecting improvement, I was not expecting this much improvement! Deep tight base that can be both heard and felt. And that midrange support I was seeking? A crystal-clear midrange as smooth as the finest dark chocolate. I literally can hear fingers sliding across guitar strings. Then there is the soundstage… While the Ghost sounds great out of the package, it will significantly improve over time. Around day five the soundstage expanded substantially, in both width and depth.

There is so much air around voices now, that I feel transported to a cave, a church, or an auditorium, depending on the recording. Give his cables a try, as I am confident both your ears and your wallet will not be disappointed."

"Those looking for the right power cable to replace your scrawny stock ones, look no further! Well made as are all PTA cables, the connectors are also kind to equipment at both ends (they hold tight but are easy to plug in). Thanks again!"

Toby R.

"I have switched every cable and all power cords to Pine Tree. The clarity, tightness and focus of the music is incredible. The switch to the flat ribbon speaker cable seems to have yielded the greatest change.

I highly recommend Pine Tree. Their build quality is great, but sound quality is where their products excel"

"PINE TREE AUDIO ISO -QUAD are cables that offer a variety of color sleeves. This way, I can have a Interconnecting System that is color coded like an actual color schematic."

"I got your phono rca cable with the ground wire and all I can say is...WOW!!!! I feel like a bozo for not finding you guys sooner but I'm super happy I did. Super fast shipping and the quality, build, and sound of the cable was incredible! When I plugged it in I noticed that the imaging improved, the audio sounds more transparent, and the soundstage improved as well. You got yourself a regular, absolutely outstanding!!!"

Josh L.

"I used the Pine Tree Naked Quad Braid RCA Interconnects as the link between my Adcom GTP450 Preamp and an Onkyo M-501 amplifier and the sound became fuller and much deeper than it was with 'factory' rca cables I was replacing. The Onkyo was unleashed and the performance was very pleasing. Worth every penny!"

Hal D.

"I received the speaker and interconnect cables yesterday.  The improvements are noticeable.  More space in the imaging, cleaner sound throughout the spectrum.  Less fatiguing at higher levels.  What a value for such improvements!"

Dale D.

"After a few weeks with the new RCA cables, they're excellent and a HUGE improvement over my Audioquest Golden Gate interconnects (at almost half the price). It gave my system noticeable improvements in detail and headroom, even on something like the local news broadcast. And the fit was much better than the AQ's (way too tight)."

Ryan C.

"After about 60 hrs using the Iso-Braid AC power cable my Rogue RP-1 preamp sounded clearer, more low end in the phono stage ! I will order another Iso-Braid power cable and use it on my Nuprime CD -8 transport."
