Pine audio makes audio cables by hand. This hands on braiding and termination allows for cable customization that can be made specifically for your system. I first contacted Jesse as I needed a better cable for my REL subwoofer. REL subwoofers also offer support to the midrange region. Because of this midrange support, I didn’t want an interconnect that focused solely on the bass, as I also wanted additional midrange enhancement.
Another requirement I had was shielding. My subwoofer was located about two feet from a wireless router, and with the advent of 5G, I feel that all audio cables should have some form of shielding to minimize interference from outside signals.
My conversation with Jesse was both active and engaging, as he asked several questions to gain an understanding of my system set-up and what benefits I was seeking to improve with the addition of his cable.
