To apply for PIITRAM 2024, start by obtaining essential information from the Person in Charge (PIC) at your institution. Next, visit the official website at PIITRAM 2024 Website. Once on the website, choose your relevant category and complete the registration form. Please ensure that the required payment has been settled before initiating the registration process. During registration, remember to upload two vital documents: proof of payment and your abstract. It's important to note that both documents must be uploaded together for your application to be considered complete.

Registration for PIITRAM 2024 requires payment before the registration process can be initiated. It's important to note that registration without prior payment will not be accepted. Therefore, to ensure your registration is successfully completed and considered, payment must be settled before proceeding with the registration steps. 

The registration fee for PIITRAM 2024 is RM300 for physical participation and RM150 for online participation. It's important to note that there is no early bird registration discount available. However, please be aware that the first 200 entries will be allocated for physical participation, except for those from Sabah and Sarawak>.

To make a payment for your PIITRAM 2024 registration, participants have the option to use the MyPayment method and online banking. The registration deadline for PIITRAM 2024 is set for 30th November 2023. It's important to note that the deadline for poster submissions is 9th February 2024, and the deadline for video submissions is 13th February 2024. Please ensure that you meet these deadlines for successful participation.

Please be aware that no refunds will be issued in the event that participants need to withdraw from the competition. We appreciate your understanding of this policy.

We regret to inform you that financial assistance is not available for individuals who are unable to afford the registration fee. We appreciate your understanding of this policy. 

If you wish to change your registered category, there's no need to re-register. Simply send an email to piitram2024@usim.edu.my to inform us of the category change. Please be sure to include your previous registration ID and a copy of your Letter of Acceptance (LOA) for our reference. We will process the category change accordingly.

If you need to make corrections to your submitted abstract, please email piitram2024@usim.edu.my with the latest version of your abstract, including the title. To expedite the identification of your submission, include your full name, submission ID (if available), the name of your institution, and attach a copy of your Letter of Acceptance (LOA). We will promptly process the corrections based on the provided information.

Unfortunately, we do not offer accommodation. However, you can find a list of accommodations located near USIM by visiting the following link: Accommodation List. We recommend exploring these options for your stay during PIITRAM 2024.

If you intend to make payments using a grant, it's essential to provide documentation confirming your grant funding from an institution. If you do not have this documentation, we recommend contacting the grantor or administrator to obtain the necessary paperwork. This documentation is crucial to facilitate your payment process.

If you choose to participate physically, there's no need to create a video presentation. Video submissions are not required for physical participants.

Video presentations are specifically required for online entries, and these videos should be precisely 7 minutes in duration. Physical participants do not need to create videos.

To submit your completed video, please follow these steps: First, upload the video to your YouTube account. Next, send the video link to the event organizer at video submission. It's crucial to name your video using the following format: "<PIITRAM2024><PROJECT CODE><PROJECT TITLE>." Please adhere to this format, as videos that do not comply will not be accepted.

The maximum number of participants allowed in a group for all categories is 6 individuals. This group should consist of 1 leader/mentor and 5 members. If there are 2 leaders, then only 4 members are allowed in the group. Please note that exceeding this maximum limit is not permitted.

The poster size for PIITRAM 2024 is A1 (59.4 x 84.1 cm). To access the official poster template, please visit [Template Source].

In your poster, the top banner in the template is a mandatory element. Other areas of the poster can be customized based on your creativity. However, it's crucial to ensure that all required elements for assessment, as outlined on the official website, are present in your poster. Including these elements will assist the judges in providing fair and justified marks during the presentation.

For invoices and grants, participants must use the grant letter as proof of payment.

For institutional sponsorship, participants are required to include a sponsorship letter from their respective institutions. For further clarification, please contact the responsible officer for your institution.
