About Ward 6

Ward 6 is home to diverse neighbourhoods, each with its own character and unique needs. From the new developments north of Dundas Street, to the established neighbourhoods between Dundas Street and Upper Middle Road, and the older communities south of Upper Middle Road, residents face different challenges that require thoughtful and responsive representation.

Despite these differences, there are common concerns shared across Ward 6. Residents want safer neighbourhoods, better enforcement of speeding, and greater attention to the growing use of electric scooters and bikes. Many are also concerned about airplane noise and its impact on their quality of life.

At the same time, residents are increasingly concerned about uncontrolled growth and overdevelopment, and about protecting the character, livability, and identity of the neighbourhoods they call home.

Pierre understands that one approach does not fit all. He will listen to the concerns of each neighbourhood and work to ensure that the voices of Ward 6 residents are heard and respected.
