Alphabet Photo Scavenger Hunt
Materials:
Camera or Phone
A - Z Checklist
Pen or Pencil
Instructions:
Have your child grab the camera/phone, checklist, and pen/pencil.
Ask them to take pictures of objects that range from A to Z.
Have them check off the letters as they go and note the object they photographed.
You can put all the pictures together in a Word document or photo editing program to form a letter size poster of all the photos at the end!

Have them check off the letters as they go.

Alphabet Collage Scavenger Hunt
Materials:
Magazine that can pictures can be cut out of
A large sheet of paper
Glue
A - Z Checklist
Pen or Pencil
Instructions:
Ask them to find pictures that start with the letters from A to Z.
Have your child cut out those pictures and glue them to the paper.
Have them check off the letters as they go.
Number Matching
Materials:
Empty Egg Carton
Marker
Buttons or you can substitute for any of the following: beans, rice, marshmallows, beads, M&Ms or any similar candy, etc.
Instructions:
Write the numbers 1-12 in each dip in the carton. (You can start off by writing the numbers in consecutive order. If the children get bored of that, you can switch the numbers.
Use buttons or any other type of counter to count and match the numbers in the carton.
Note: You can also make this a color game.
Use different color markers, crayons, etc. to color the bottom of each dip a different color.
Use colored buttons, M&Ms, Skittles, Jelly Beans, beads to learn colors.
