Recognition and segmentation of aluminum profiles - EKA Srl-DFV Spa

1. Study and design of a system for acquiring information about the pallet containing the aluminium profiles: an appropriate lighting system, associated with a suitable sensor (camera or video camera), connected to a PC, will create the controlled lighting conditions to acquire an image of the profiles with high resolution and suitable quality.

2. Feasibility study, design and implementation of an automatic recognition system to identify the shapes contained in a photo of the pallet and associate them with images (model) contained in a suitable dataset. The association will be carried out through a suitably calculated confidence index. The application scenario and/or environment of the system is to be understood as the incoming acceptance control phase of the profile pallets, with the aim of making its operation more efficient.

HeReFaNMi (Health-Related Fake News Monitoring) stands at the forefront of tackling this pressing issue, fueled by the determination to combat the propagation of fake news within health-related information and restore trustworthiness to the internet community. This pioneering project is driven by recognizing the severe consequences of misinformation, including the promotion of ineffective remedies, the downplaying of risks, and the erosion of public confidence in scientific research.
