Parent Teacher Meeting in Department of Physics
** A newly admitted student Sk Nizamuddin is struggling to understand the subject and very slow learner. We have already arranged for some tutorial class and extra class for him. Already conducted a parent teacher meeting with his parents on 08.09.2026. Our Head of the Department, Dr. Binay Malakar, was very kind and bought him some books. But still its becoming very hard for him. One good thing is that the student was also trying very hard to study Physics. He is the most regular student in our current Sem-1 batch. But its his basic understandings which are not very strong to study Physics.
It was a lesson for us too.
Dr. Binay Malakar was a mentor to Sk Nizamuddin. Dr Krishanu Sarkar was also invited to help us about this incident. Dr. Somenath Jalal was also present in this meeting. It was the call from the parents. They understood the situation for their son. They proposed to change the Major subject from Physics. But Nijamuddin was hesitant to change the subject as he loves Physics very much and wants to continue the Physics Major this year.
