Today (14.03.2026) this is very proud moment of Department of Physics. Mrs. Chhanda Samanta, our notable alumni came to visit us. She completed her B.Sc in Physics from this department. She is the daughter of Dr. Sristidhar Samanta who was former Head of the Department of this same Physics Department till 2000. Mrs. Chhanda Samanta along with her younger brother Dr. Sourav Samanta spend some quality time with us. At present Mrs. Chhanda Samanta is teaching at Bharati Balika Vidyalaya, near Kamalakanta Kalibari, Burdwan, and Dr. Sourav Samanta is a faculty at UIT, the University of Burdwan, Computer Science Department.

Today 05.03.2026, our ex-student Pimpa Roy (2020-2023 CBCS Batch) visited us. Thanks to her. We all wish her all the best for her future.

Sem-1 Internal Exam Started on 18-12-2025. All 8 students were present.

Semester-II (3/4 Years Minor) Physics Practical Examination 2025

Mr. Sudipta Chattopadhyay, one of our outgoing Semester-VI students, got selected at NIT Hamirpur {https://nith.ac.in/ } (through JAM Score). Sudipta is also INSPIRE Scholarship recipient.
