The Investiture Ceremony for 2025-26 at BGS National Public School, Hulimavu, held on July 12, 2025, was an exceptionally enriching and spiritually uplifting event. It was profoundly graced by the revered presence and divine blessings of Rev. Lord Dr. Prakashnath Swamiji, Managing Director of BGS & SJB Group of Institutions & Hospitals. His presence was pivotal in instilling vital values of leadership, duty, and service in the school's young torchbearers.
The ceremony began with a motorcade and Guard of Honour warmly welcoming Swamiji, followed by a solemn march and soulful renditions that set a divine tone. Our esteemed Principal, Dr. Malini M. Dutta, delivered a truly warm and gracious welcome address, taking the lead in felicitating the dignitaries. Her inspiring words specifically emphasized the importance of responsible student leadership rooted in strong values.
The core of the ceremony, the sashing and badging of the School Pupil Leaders, House Masters, House Mistresses, Captains, and Committee Members, was elevated to a divine experience by Swamiji's spiritual presence. His blessings during the oath administration and flag handover, coupled with his impactful Ashirvachana, deeply moved everyone, powerfully stressing service, humility, and moral strength as the true pillars of leadership. Following this, Principal Dr. Malini M. Dutta, with her characteristic calm command and dignified poise, masterfully conducted the solemn oath proceedings. She instilled in each student a profound sense of commitment, discipline, and excellence.
Distinguished Guests of Honour, Ms. Meike Krautscheid (Director, Finland 2030 Education Initiatives) and Dr. C. V. Yelamaggad (Scientist, CeNS), also significantly enriched the event with their support.
