Inspired by the unique and resilient "PHU-LAE" pineapple – small in size but bursting with distinctive flavor, much like the burgeoning Thai animation scene – our festival aims to showcase the power, creativity, and potential of animators from Thailand and across the globe.

More than screenings, we offer an Animation Award for emerging talent, Master Classes, Workshops, and Seminars led by industry experts. We aim to connect and inspire a global community of animators in the inspiring backdrop of Northern Thailand.

Are you ready to share your imagination with the world? The Phu Lae International Animation Festival is now accepting submissions for our 2025 edition! We welcome animated films of all techniques, genres, and lengths completed after January 1st, 2021. There's no submission fee, and creators of all ages and nationalities are encouraged to apply. This is your chance to gain international exposure, connect with a vibrant community, and potentially win an incredible experience in Thailand!
