👋 Meet "Nong Luk Kui", our super cute PR mascot! 🥰

Nong Luk Kui will be the main "communicator" who will take everyone to know every nook and cranny of the Phu Lae International Animation Festival in depth! Get ready for lots of fun and bright updates from our little friend! ✨

Why is it called "Luk Kui"? 🤔

"Luk Kui" is a Northern Thai word that means "fist" 👊 In addition to referring to the fist-sized "Phu Lae pineapple" 🍍 which is the origin of the festival's name, "fist" also has a deeper meaning of "fighter" and "determination"! 💪 Just like the awesome animators who overcome challenges to create amazing works!

The design concept for Nong Luk Kui came from the cuteness of "Phu Lae pineapple" combined with the unique charm of "Sihu Hata" 🐛, a legendary creature with 4 ears and 5 eyes according to Chiang Rai's local legend! ✨ Nong Luk Kui is a bright, cute, meaningful mascot that fits perfectly with Lanna culture!
