French Honor Society
La société honoraire de français
Students who have received above 90% (A) in French I and French II and who intend to continue their studies of French are eligible to apply for membership of the PHS chapter of the American Association of Teachers of French (AATF) Société Honoraire de Français.
To maintain membership, students must be enrolled in French and complete service requirements. They must also be members of the PHS Club de Français and actively promote the study of French in the school. These students should be roll models to other students of French and are expected to show enthusiasm and dedication to the language.
PEER TUTORING
Honor Society members are responsible for helping and tutoring other students of French. They must tutor two times per quarter and attend at least three French Club or French Honor Society functions per semester.
