Updates and things to know

• Class of 2023! My name is Nicole Chase and I am your new college/career adviser! I am so excited to work with you this year! Sign up for an appointment with me, email me at nchase@spsmail.org or come meet me either in my office (Room 155) or in the College Success Lab during Power Hour each week Tuesday - Friday from 11:10-12:10 in room 157 to assist with college questions and needs including:

  • College Applications

  • FAFSA Applications

  • Planning for life after high school, including military, trade school, Job Corps, and other options

• If you need your transcripts to be sent to the institution that you are applying to, please email Mrs. Kyle at bkkyle@spsmail.org. You can also request your transcript by clicking the link below!

• All college-bound students (including students using A+) MUST file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (the FAFSA)! The application opens on October 1, 2022. You have to fill it out by February 1 if you want to get money, so make sure you do that.

December: Priority deadline for a lot of colleges are in December. Make sure you're applying and filling out any required forms by your college's deadline.

December 9th: Tour of MSSU. Sign up is outside the College Adviser's office. The trip will be from 8:30-2.
