Who are college ambassadors?

Excellent Seniors, Juniors, and Sophomores have the opportunity to serve as college ambassadors. College ambassadors are leaders as they:

• Attend weekly meetings and assist with college and career planning.

• Help facilitate workshops, virtual campus tours, and other events.

• Guide their fellow Vikings on their paths to success. 

Benefits of serving as a college ambassador:

• Opportunity for professional growth and development.

• Serve as a voice for fellow students.

• Looks good on college applications.

• Have fun!

how do i become a college ambassador?

College ambassadors will meet with Mr. Mayer on Mondays during the first session of Power Hour throughout the school year. To apply to be an ambassador, students should have a 3.0 GPA or higher and submit a paper application. Applications can be picked up from Mr. Mayer's office. 

The submission must include:

• The Application Form

• A recommendation from a teacher who thinks you are a good fit!
