Calculator Vault · Hide Photos is designed to help users privately store and protect personal photos and videos directly on their own device.
The App may appear as a calculator interface to provide additional privacy protection for personal content.
You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not violate the rights or privacy of others.
All content you import, create, or store within the App, including photos, videos, albums, and hidden items, remains entirely yours.
We do not access, upload, store, or process your files on external servers or cloud services.
Everything is stored locally on your device.
The App uses AES-256 encryption to help protect your files, along with:
Main PIN
Optional Decoy PIN
Face ID / Touch ID authentication
Decoy PIN allows users to open a separate vault for additional privacy protection.
Users may also activate Face ID / Touch ID authentication by swiping up on the calculator screen.
You are solely responsible for keeping your credentials secure.
If you lose access to your PIN and biometric authentication is unavailable, we cannot recover your encrypted data.
Deleted files are moved to the Trash for 30 days.
During this period, files may be restored.
After 30 days, files are permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.
Because all data is stored locally on your device only, uninstalling the App will permanently remove all stored content, including items in Trash.
To function properly, the App may request access to:
Camera: To capture photos/videos directly into the vault
Photo Library: To import media from your device
Biometric Authentication: To enable Face ID / Touch ID access
You may disable these permissions at any time through your device settings, though some features may stop functioning properly.
Calculator Vault · Hide Photos does not support cloud backup, cloud sync, online accounts, or server-side recovery.
Because of this:
We cannot recover deleted files
We cannot recover forgotten PINs
We cannot restore encrypted data after uninstalling the App
Please keep your device and credentials secure.
You may not use the App to:
Store or distribute illegal or harmful content
Violate the privacy or rights of others
Attempt to reverse engineer, hack, abuse, or modify the App’s functionality
Use the App in violation of applicable laws or regulations
The App is provided "as is" and without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
We do not guarantee that the App will always be error-free, secure, or uninterrupted.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the App.
This includes, but is not limited to:
Loss of data
Forgotten PINs
Deleted content
Device-related issues
Loss of access caused by uninstalling the App
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time.
Any changes will be posted within the App or on the official support page.
Continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
