At Photo Vault: SPV, your privacy and data security are our top priorities. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and how we keep your information safe.
All your photos and videos are stored locally on your device. Photo Vault: SPV does not upload, sync, or back up your files to any cloud services, including iCloud.
We do not require any user account, email registration, or personal information to use the app. We also do not track your usage or behavior within the app.
All files saved inside the app are encrypted using AES-256, a military-grade encryption standard, ensuring only you can access your private content.
You can secure access to your vault and hidden items using:
A custom PIN code
Face ID / Touch ID (biometric authentication)
These credentials are stored securely in Apple's Keychain and are never sent to our servers (we have none).
We request the following permissions for key app functionalities:
Camera: To let you take photos/videos directly into the app.
Photo Library: To allow importing media from your device.
Face ID / Touch ID: To unlock the app for secure and convenient access.
We only ask for the minimum permissions necessary, and all data stays on your device.
When you delete a file, it is first moved to the Trash within the app and remains there for 30 days. You can restore it during this time. After 30 days, the item is permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.
If you uninstall the app, all stored data will be permanently lost, including items in Trash.
We do not share, sell, or transmit your data to any third party. Your data belongs to you — always.
Photo Vault: SPV is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone.
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect improvements or legal requirements. You will be notified through the app if any significant changes are made.
