I select an EEP setting and my screen does not change. Why?

Please follow this checklist:

1. Make sure your viewer supports EEP. As of writing this FAQ (September 2020) the latest SL viewer Second Life Release 6.4.7.546539 and Firestorm 6.4.5 (60799) support EEP. You can find your viewer version via "Help - About..."

2. It is crucial that under "World - Environment" the option "Shared Environment" is activated.

3. You also need to have agreed to the "Experience Permissions Tantrica Banana" when the dialog popped up for it. If you did not, your viewer is not allowed to apply EEP for you. You can check your Experience settings via "Me" or "Avatar" - "Experiences" in your viewer menu. "Tantrica Banana" should be in the "Allowed" tab. If it is not, you can add it via "search" tab. Make sure it is not in the "blocked" tab.

I activate the light sources but they do not emit light on my screen. Why?

Very likely you have disabled local light sources. Please check on the page "Preparations" with the two screenshots how to enable them
