Phoenix Printer Care Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 16, 2026

Developer: Michael Craig (Phoenix Creations 777)

Phoenix Printer Care ("the app") helps you keep your 3D printers maintained. This policy explains what happens to your information when you use it. In short: your data stays on your device. We don't collect it, see it or sell it.

What the app stores, and where

Everything you enter stays only on your iPhone, in the app's own private storage:

- Your printers: model, nickname, print hours, serial number, purchase date, nozzles and build plates

- Maintenance tasks, check-ins and your maintenance history, including notes, costs and photos you attach

- Spare parts, the shopping list, problem logs and custom labels

- Your settings

The app's widgets read a small summary of what's due from the same device.

We have no servers, and the app doesn't send this information to us or anyone else. There are no accounts or sign-ups.

If you delete the app, this data is deleted with it, unless you saved a backup.

If your device is backed up by iCloud Backup or to a computer, Apple's backup includes the app's data, as it does for any app. That backup is controlled by you and Apple; we can't access it.

Camera and photos

The camera is used only when you choose to take a photo for a log entry or a printer. Photos you take or pick are stored only on your device, inside the app.

Picking a photo uses Apple's photo picker, which only gives the app the photo you choose.

"Save to Photos" for printer QR labels asks for permission to add images to your library. The app can't read your library with this permission.

Notifications, Siri and Shortcuts

Maintenance reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device. Nothing is sent through a server.

Siri and Shortcuts requests (for example logging print hours) are handled on your device by the app.

Backups, exports and sharing

Backups, spreadsheet (CSV) exports and labels are created on your device. They go only where you choose to send them: Files, iCloud Drive, AirDrop, email, Messages or a printer, using Apple's share sheet. Once you send a file somewhere, that service's own privacy policy applies.

Feedback

If you tap Send Feedback, the app opens your own email app with a message addressed to us. Nothing is sent unless you choose to send it, and you can read and edit the message first.

Web links

Links to printer makers' maintenance guides, firmware pages and part stores open in Safari and are subject to those websites' own policies.

Purchases

Phoenix Printer Care Pro is available as a monthly or yearly subscription or a one-time Lifetime purchase, all handled by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details, name or Apple Account. The app only checks with Apple whether Pro is active on your account. See Apple's privacy policy at apple.com/legal/privacy.

No tracking, analytics or ads

The app contains no analytics, no advertising, no tracking and no third-party SDKs. It doesn't use the advertising identifier and doesn't track you across other apps or websites.

If you have chosen in your device settings to share analytics with app developers, Apple may provide us with anonymous crash reports and usage statistics. That is controlled by you and Apple, not by the app.

Children

The app is suitable for all ages and doesn't knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll update it here and change the effective date above. Because the app doesn't collect your data, any change will be described on this page.
