Our guest, Angela Crawford, has taught for over 20 years, and she is now an Assitant Principal at Wagner Elementary School. Angie is a doctoral candidate, teacher-consultant with PhilWP, and a research practitioner on the Digital Discourse Project. Angela’s advice for other teachers on how to facilitate meaningful discussions: create relationships to promote engagement, value student voice, and resist censorship for organic conversation. Her favorite text to teach is Their Eyes Were Watching God by Zora Neale Hurston.
