Implementing room mapping functionality in my robot significantly elevates the complexity of the project. This will necessitate a more intricate sensor arrangement, likely utilizing a mix of ultrasonic sensors and IR sensors to achieve more accurate distance measurements. While an even more advanced mapping capability could be achieved using a LiDAR sensor, this would substantially increase the project's cost. Nonetheless, a more economical alternative could involve using a rotating IR sensor setup to attain a simplified mapping capability.
