TIME-BASED ONE-TIME PASSWORD (TOTP) UPDATE
As indicated on PRO XI Advisory No. 2025-016, an updated version of Electronic Premium Remittance System (EPRS) v.04.07.00.2025.01, where a two-factor authentication (2FA) – Time-based One-Time Password (TOTP) is now implemented. It is a security enhancement with the goal of adding layer of protection to the users to reduce risk of unauthorized access.
This enhancement has proven to be difficult and challenging for most employers, especially those who are not yet familiar with the process. To assist them, a comprehensive walkthrough has been provided to guide employers in navigating this new process.
UPDATING OF OFFICIAL EMAIL ADDRESS
With the implementation of new EPRS version, one of its primary requirements is the use of an updated and official employer email address. It has come to our attention that many of our employers have not yet updated their email addresses in our system, causing them trouble and difficulties in completing the two-factor authentication (2FA) process using Time-based One-Time Password (TOTP) format.
To ensure continuous access of EPRS and smooth process on utilizing 2FA function, employers must update their official email address through the submission of Employer Data Record (ER1) and PhilHealth Online Access Form (POAF) to their assigned Local Health Insurance Office (LHIO).
Shown below are the updated forms mentioned that they can access and download anytime.
EMPLOYER DATA RECORD (ER1)
PHILHEALTH ONLINE ACCESS FORM (POAF)
