PHILHEALTH YAMAN NG KALUSUGAN PROGRAM (YAKAP)

During the recent State of the Nation Address (SONA) by President Bongbong Marcos (PBBM) last July 22, 2024, he introduced the newly enhanced program of PhilHealth, the Yaman ng Kalusugan Program (YAKAP). This is the re-branding of formerly PhilHealth Konsultasyong Sulit at Tama (KonSulTa) wherein various benefits were added and enhanced.

Shown in the list below are the adjustments made on PhilHealth YAKAP:

1. Expansion of PhilHealth KonSulTa Benefit Package - improving healthcare accessibility by expanding this program which provides free primary care services, including Cancer Screening Tests, Consultation, laboratories, and medicines.

2. Strengthening Universal Healthcare (UHC) - assuring that its implementation will be applied to all Filipinos, especially for the poor and vulnerable, having access to quality healthcare.

3. Digitalization of PhilHealth - ongoing enhancements on the digitalization to streamline PhilHealth services, making it easier for members to avail their benefits and even monitor their PhilHealth record.

Pay your PhilHealth Premium Contribution in a flash with GCASH!

GCASH has introduced a new feature that could benefit all Individually Paying or Self-Employed Members of PhilHealth. A member can easily pay their monthly premium contribution through GCASH by indicating their PhilHealth Number, month/s they want to pay and its total amount.
