City Tour: Cultural Exploration in Yogyakarta 

Outside of teaching, the program organized a city tour that allowed me to explore and learn about Yogyakarta’s culture and history firsthand.

We visited famous landmarks such as:

• Local markets bustling with colorful goods and traditional foods.

• Sampling authentic Indonesian dishes like Nasi Goreng (fried rice) and Satay (grilled skewers).

• Walking through neighborhoods to observe local life and interact with residents.

This cultural immersion gave me deeper insights into Indonesian traditions, strengthened social skills, and helped build meaningful connections with the community.
