Day 6 & 7 - Varanasi

Mon 7-Jan-2019: All offerings, apart from Bodh Gaya, had now been completed and we commenced our pilgrimage journey. We caught the morning flight from Bangalore to Varanasi, one of the oldest cities in the world. At Varanasi, we also met our friendly and skillful bus driver Nakhdu, and his assistant, Dinesh, who took us to all the locations during the entire pilgrimage trip. And yes, our driver was very skillful with his calm appearance as he expertly navigated around the chaotic Indian traffic.

Tues 8-Jan-2019: At Varanasi, we visited the world famous Ganges River and Deer Park in Sarnath, the place where The Buddha gave his first teaching.
