Mon 14-Jan-2019: We crossed the Indian border to Nepal and got to see the bustling scene at the border market. The total bus journey took us 6 hours, including 1 hour for visa processing at the border. At Lumbini, we visited the historical Maya Devi Temple where Queen Maya gave birth to Prince Siddartha who later became the Buddha.

Tue 15-Jan-2019: On the last day at Lumbini, we visited Kapilavastu Palace where Prince Siddartha spent his life prior to renouncing it to start his journey of seeking answers to life's sufferings.
