Former Students

M.Sc.

M.Sc. Javier Antonio Gonzalez Trejo (VPL),

Master in Software Engineering, CIMAT-Zacatecas, 2019-2021.

"Crowd analysis with Deep Learning"

was born in 1994 in Guadalupe, Zacatecas. He graduated from the Autonomous University of Zacatecas UAZ, as a computer engineer and at present he is a 1-semester student pursuing a Master in Software Engineering degree at the Mathematics Research Center (CIMAT) in Zacatecas. Currently, he is working on counting, detection, and tracking of dense crowds using convolutional neuronal networks. His areas of interest are visual perception, AI and functional programming. M.Sc. Marichelo García Venegas (VPL),

Master in Software Engineering, CIMAT-Zacatecas, 2018-2020.

"Seguridad del usuario vulnerable de la carretera mediante la detección y seguimiento del ciclista utilizando Aprendizaje Profundo"

was born on 1994 in Jerez de García Salinas, Zacatecas. She's a third semester student of the Master's Degree in Software Engineering MIS at the Mathematics Research Center, CIMAT-Zacatecas. She’s currently working on the project "Visual detection of cyclists using Deep Learning", with the purpose of protecting these vulnerable road users, through implementing and evaluating Convolutional Neural Networks type "Faster R-CNN" . Besides, along with Luis A. Pinedo Sánchez, they are collecting images to create their own database of cyclists. [video] [video2] [journal]

Masters in Software Engineering, CIMAT-Zacatecas, 2018-2020.

"Detección del Desgaste en Rodamientos Mediante Vibraciones Haciendo uso de

Técnicas de Aprendizaje Profundo"

He was born in 1994 in Jerez de García Salinas, Zacatecas. He is a third semester student of the Master in Software Engineering MIS at the Mathematics Research Center, CIMAT-Zacatecas. He is currently working on the project "Predictive analysis for the detection of abnormal patterns in vibration bearings", using convolutional neural networks on vibrations signals to prevent failures in industrial applications.
