RULES OF PLAY
At all times we expect our members and guests to exercise common sense and courtesy, respect, and patience. Not everyone who walks onto the court has experience playing. Even if you've never played the sport of volleyball, we know YOU KNOW the difference between right and wrong. We want to promote and pass on the love of the game!
Please refer to Code of Conduct for guidance should you in a position that might require you to
"check yourself, before you wreck yourself!"
Our mission at PGVC is: building lifelong memories, friends, family, and community through the sport of volleyball. As a registered CEVA club we support that mission by hosting Junior events like the Diversity & Inclusion Summer Kickoff and the End of Summer Junior Grass Tournaments, which was a labor of love involving PGVC, CEVA, Adidas NW Juniors, Reynold's High School, NW Elite, and Parkrose School District. 2019 was our inaugural year and we planned more events and friendship tournaments around the PNW! Unfortunately, due to the Coronavirus/COVID-19, all plans were postponed until after quarantine. Eventually, the decision was made to cancel events for Summer 2020. Our insurance policy allows us to include Juniors in our events since our communities are seeking out support and guidance much earlier than in times past. We want you all to know that ABOVE ALL ELSE, SAFETY will always govern our actions and decisions regarding play & involvement of Juniors with adults. If at any time you or your team feels uncomfortable being matched up to play Juniors, PLEASE contact Dale PRIOR to day of scheduled match. We will do our best to accommodate but cannot guarantee an immediate solution.
Use the links below to view the rules PGVC has adapted for each variation of volleyball we host. It is the responsibility of team captains/representative/manager to ensure their teams are kept updated on our rules and policies as well as follow our Code of Conduct.
