This Problem Gambling Prevention Bootcamp was presented by CADCA Master Trainer, Dorothy Chaney, from October 2023-April 2024. It applies CADCA's Strategic Prevention Framework specifically to Problem Gambling Prevention and is a great way to think about how to build logic models and implement sustainable programming in your community.
The training consists of 3 all day webinar trainings and 3 refresher webinar trainings. The 4th all day training was in person.

While most of our work as Prevention Specialists is at the community level, it's important to stay familiar with the real individual toll that gambling harms cause in people's lives and families. Take some time to listen to their stories. Notice that each story is unique but there are many common threads. Look for places where education, resources, and protective factors may have lessened the harm.
