Roxann Jones is OHA's Problem Gambling Prevention Specialist. As our liaison, she is there to support us with resources and guidance and help us with our workplan development and evaluation. Many of us schedule regular check-ins with Roxann. She's also available by phone or email if questions arise.
Work Cell: 503-410-2304
It can take a while to get up to speed with the world of Problem Gambling Prevention. Let Roxann know if you'd like to connect with another coordinator for additional guidance. We're all here to support one another.
Current Implementation Plans are based on the fiscal year calendar July-June. These plans are submitted and approved by OHA PGS. They are living documents and can be updated when needed. Some implementation plans include lots of detail while others are more of an outline of activities and intended outcomes. Many people build out a more detailed workplan for their own use from their implementation plan.
Take some time to review your county's implementation plan and last few quarterly reports. Everyone has a different reporting style but use the materials in this section to help you capture the amazing work happening in your county. Most find it helpful to track activities throughout the quarter so you don't have to remember back several months while writing the report.
