To reform EC effectively in the domain of Conduct of Elections and Postal Voting, we need a highly competent, integrity, and neutral team. Since 2019, we have been deploying civil society individuals as Polling Staff (Ketua Tempat Mengundi, Kerani Pengundi, etc).
On 1st September 2023, we officially launched our Petugas programme.
About us
Tindak Malaysia is established on 2008 with the aim of free and fair elections in Malaysia through increasing voter education. We are actively involved in calling for reforms in Malaysia's electoral system.
Since Tindak Malaysia's inception, we have carried out several highly comprehensive trainings on polling workers for our group of volunteers across Malaysia. We are closely aligned with the Election Commission of Malaysia in election procedures, re-delineation and voter registration.
As a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO), we are a member supporting the BERSIH 2.0 coalition and a Member Organization of Gabungan Bertindak Malaysia (GBM)
As we have members and volunteers who have been involved in serving in Election since GE-13, we have a deep repository of knowledge in election work through years of service by our volunteers. You will receive training from experienced individuals who will share valuable information some of which are rarely known to the public!
Tindak Malaysia works closely with the Election Commission and we are constantly eyeing an opportunity to offer our group of volunteers to serve in an election, by joining our PETUGAS programme you will be one of the first to be notified of any potential opportunities to serve in any of the upcoming election in Malaysia.
As an NGO with more than a decade of experience in demanding free and fair elections, we strive to recruit volunteers who are from all walks of life to better represent the diverse society of our country. Tindak Malaysia welcome those who hold the highest ideals and passionate in making a difference through serving in elections.
