The Peters Lab receives a UAB grant along with the Heinsbroek and Day Labs, to fund a collaborative MPI project focused on identifying transcriptomic changes resulting from drug use.

Drs. Margareth Nogueira and Leandro Ruiz Leyva join the team as our first post-docs at UAB.

Dr. J gives a talk at ISRP on "Preclinical models identify 5-HT2A receptors as a therapeutic target for opioid use disorder with comorbid alcohol use." Dr. Heinsbroek presents a poster at ISRP on "Tabernanthalog reduces motivation for heroin and alcohol in a polydrug use model."
