Peter Egge Langsæther

About me

I'm an Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science at the University of Oslo where I teach quantitative methods and various courses in political behaviour. I do research on political behaviour and political parties, with a special emphasis on the role of social groups (e.g. social class) in politics. My work on this and other topics has been published in journals such as the British Journal of Political Science, the British Journal of Sociology, and the European Journal of Political Research (full list of publications here). I am also author of the book Party Families in Western Europe (2023) and I comment on politics for various news outlets.
