Peter Egge Langsæther

About me

I'm a Senior Research Fellow at the Institute for Social Research, Oslo, where I do research on political behaviour, political parties, and civil society, with a special emphasis on the role of social groups (e.g. social class) in politics. My work on this and other topics has been published in journals such as the British Journal of Political Science, Comparative Political Studies, and the Journal of Politics (full list of publications here). I am also author of the book Party Families in Western Europe (2023) and I comment on politics for various news outlets.
