My Use of AI Tools in this Assignment:
Grammarly was used throughout the webpages to ensure that the text is free of grammatical errors and typos. I utilized Gemini 2.5 to brainstorm general ideas and develop the page structure; however, I only incorporated some of its suggestions. As I am new to business analysis, I consulted with Gemini the most for the business analysis section. Additionally, I used ChatGPT to refine parts of the language, ensuring that the overall tone sounds professional and appealing for a professional audience.
Personal Reflection:
Analyzing Perusall has helped me better understand how a learning technology platform can strategically respond to real-world teaching and learning challenges—such as low student engagement with readings and limited textbook access—through thoughtful design, pedagogical grounding, and integration with existing educational systems. This analysis requires me to critically evaluate educational technologies not only for their features but for their alignment with institutional needs, learner behaviour, and broader market trends. The analyzing process has helped me clarify the importance of identifying a clear educational pain point, validating it with both personal insight and market signals, and positioning a solution that combines usability, pedagogy, and scalability. It also reinforced the value of building on evidence-informed practices and being attentive to the educator’s perspective—both key considerations in the development of my own pitch.
