After assimilation into our timeline, Maya was searched and everything on her person was confiscated including a neatly folded, though slightly worn, letter. Due to documentation error, the letter was nearly lost to time. The letter is from her brother.

Shortly after Maya's assimilation into our timeline she was apprehended and taken into Foundation custody. She was told that she may have dangerous pathogens or vice versa, and this is for her own and everyone's safety. Following almost a week of confinement, she was brought out and interviewed.
