Biography and Timeline

All of the following information has been given voluntarily by Maya Amaryllis.

The world in Maya Amaryllis' timeline is very clearly different from our own, and for good reason. It is known that one of the earliest divergences between this timeline and our own is that an atomic bomb was never developed during World War II. It can be reasoned that a smaller divergence had to have occurred before this, which led to this in the first place. However, at this time, we have had little information to expand on this. 

With the lack of a nuclear deterrent, relations between the United States and the USSR collapsed into a third global war. Despite a lack of nuclear weapons, conventional missiles we're still stockpiled between the two nations. This resulted in a Missile Crisis at the tail end of 1962. After an initial missile exchange, the war expanded to Europe and Asia. In Asia, the People's Republic of China joined the war on the side of the Warsaw Pact until eventually a white peace was signed with the West. Gridlock existed on almost every front as NATO and the West focused on isolating the USSR until an economic collapse. This succeeded, with the USSR experiencing numerous violent uprisings in 1966 and 1967. Eventually, NATO forces began the Rhine Offensive in the summer of 1967. This offensive pushed the USSR deep into Eastern Europe and was the catalyst for a soviet surrender.

With the end of World War III the world stage had changed. The United States emerged as the de facto world superpower, NATO had broken apart with European nations forming the European Federation, and an emboldened China with little scars was on the rise. In the 1980s, the People's Republic of China developed the world's first nuclear weapon. This culminated in a Cold War akin to our own, as the three nations faced off in proxy wars across the globe. As the world entered the 21st century, these superpowers continued to face one another.

It is extremely difficult to summarize 80 years of history in a timeline as nuanced as this one in a mere three paragraphs. It is encouraged to speak with Maya Amaryllis for more information.

All of the following information has been given voluntarily by Maya Amaryllis.

Maya Celene Amaryllis was born on November 16th, 1998, in Olympia, Washington, USA. She grew up in the Middle Class with her parents and brother. Below are descriptions of Maya Amaryllis' family members.

Maya's brother, Adrian Leonard Amaryllis, was born on June 7th, 1991. They became very close friends as they grew up, keeping each other company in their turbulent family. He was always there when her Mother and Father couldn't be, often being the one to drive her to and from school.  Adrian is highly regarded by Maya, seen as an inspiration and authority figure.

Maya's Father, Simon Andrew Amaryllis, was born on February 3rd, 1972. He owned a woodworking shop and invested a significant amount of money into the business. This was primarily to keep it afloat, and he spent the majority of his time away from home for this purpose. Maya never had a significant relationship with her father and has emphasized his anger management issues. While she was 11, Simon was diagnosed with Melanoma. This further strained the family, forcing Maya to rely on her brother even more.

Maya's mother, Caroline Evelyn Amaryllis, was born on March 4th, 1968. She worked as an accountant at a local law firm, running the books for her husband's business on the side. Most of the family's income came from Caroline, due to Simon's investment in his store. Maya speaks of her mother neutrally, but expressed frustration when learning that she would never get to see her again.

Due to pressure from her parents, Maya dedicated herself fully to her education. Despite a moderately rough childhood, she graduated from Timberline High School early as the Valedictorian of the Class of 2014. She pursued a degree in Neuropsychology & Biochemistry, graduating from the University of Washington with honors in 2022.

After completing her PhD with groundbreaking research on ████████, the Foundation recognized her potential and recruited Maya in August of 2022. After several months of training, Maya would serve with the Foundation as Site-23's Chief Neuropsychiatrist. Maya held this position for over half a year until the assimilation transported her to our timeline.

Maya was transported to Timeline-1A from Timeline-15B on 7/27/2023. Maya’s assimilation into Timeline-1A was not perfect, documents were not transported with her. Shortly after the event, all personnel of the Foundation transported to Site-23 from other timelines were interviewed between 8/1/2023 and 8/10/2023. Following this interview, Maya was administered Class-F amnestics on 8/6/2023. She was reemployed as a Epsilon-11 Private at Site-66 on 5/17/2024. Given the stark difference of Foundation goals between Timeline-15B and Timeline-1A, amnestication was necessary to ensure cooperation with other personnel and the continuation of her service to Mobile Task Forces. 

Unfortunately, her amnestication had a failure, and she never had any new memories installed. She simply lost her old ones. The cover story is that she hit her head, simple but adequate for the time. Eventually she went looking into it, and asked IA Detective 'Prometheus' if it would be possible to restore her memories. Instead of her memories being restored, she was amnesticized again using Class-G in January of 2025, correcting the mistake that had previously been made. The Level 4 personnel file attached to this personnel file is the identity that was written for her, one that is no longer useful and therefor has been archived.

It didn't take long for things to go wrong. Once Maya had been Class-G'd, she stopped searching, she was satisfied. Unfortunately, an Insurgent scout by the name of 'Zealot' chose to interfere. Eventually, the Insurgent got his way and Maya was Class-X'd by the Chaos Insurgency in February of 2025. They attempted to convince her that defection was open to her, and was in fact her only option. They failed, and Maya has been allowed to hold onto the memories she was given. 

By this point Maya's career has been rocky at best. She was considered a great threat to Foundation Security and particularly untrustworthy. However, after proving her loyalty to Site Command, Maya was given the opportunity to serve as Site-66's Epsilon-11 Executive Officer. She served for the next six months without another incident and was promoted to Captain the moment the position became open. She has served with loyalty, integrity, and consistency.

On February 1st of 2026 Maya Amaryllis was given the opportunity by Site Director 'V' to serve as one of his Assistant Site Directors. There's no telling where Maya's future will bring her from here.
