Enrollment in the Sound Beginnings program purchases a spot in the class for one full semester, which means you are responsible for the payment of the full semester even if you miss classes, take weeks off, or discontinue mid-semester. If you drop out at any time, tuition will not be refunded. Makeup classes are not provided.

All fees and tuition are non-refundable, including for missed classes or early withdrawal.

You will review the class calendar and agree to the dates listed. There are 15 lessons per semester. Classes are held weekly and are approximately 30 minutes each.

Tuition shall be paid in full at the beginning of the semester. Tuition is $200 per semester for one child. Additional siblings will receive a 10% discount on their tuition (including infants). If monthly payments must be made, prior arrangements shall be decided with Ms. Rachel. Payments can be made via cash (in labeled envelope), check, or Zelle (801-244-7273 enrolled as WILL).

You agree to read the parent newsletters, utilize materials, attend class, and listen to the semester recordings at home in an effort to maximize the benefits of the program.

Please enter the classroom no earlier than 5 minutes before class. You are welcome to wait in the lobby if you arrive early.

Please watch your children carefully in the parking lot and entering/exiting the Dow Street Community Music building.

No gum, candy, food, or toys are allowed in class. 

Shoes should be worn by both parents and students in class.

Siblings and friends may not attend class unless they are officially enrolled. 

Each child attending the class must be enrolled individually on the corporate website for insurance purposes. Babies under 6 months old may choose "no materials" upon registering. Students over 6 months old should have their own instrument. Students over 12 months old should have their own instrument AND workbook.

If you are going to miss class, please notify me by sending a text to 801-244-7273. I don’t answer the phone right before class or while teaching, so please plan accordingly. 

While I strive to maintain a safe environment, Sound Beginnings involves movement. By enrolling, you accept full responsibility for any injury or illness to yourself, your child, or guests while on Perkins Music Studio property, and release Will and Rachel Perkins from all liability.

You grant Perkins Music Studio and Let's Play Music permission to use your image (photos/videos) on their websites, social media, emails, publications, and videos. You waive rights to inspect or approve the final content and to any royalties or compensation. You may request that any image be discontinued. If you have concerns, please contact Ms. Rachel.
