Enrollment in Let’s Play Music reserves a spot for all three years. Due to the program’s sequential nature, students can't be replaced after the first semester. Full-year tuition is required even if lessons are missed or you withdraw mid-year. By enrolling, you agree to pay all remaining installments for the year if you drop out. (Exceptions: job loss, severe illness, or moving.) Please notify the teacher promptly in case of hardship.

All fees and tuition are non-refundable, including for missed classes or early withdrawal.

Classes follow the Rutherford Schools calendar. Tuition is $80/month, paid in 8 installments (Aug, Sept, Oct, Nov, Jan, Feb, Mar, Apr), or by semester/year. Pay on the first lesson of each month via Zelle (preferred), cash (labeled envelope), or check.

To support your child’s progress, you agree to read parent materials, listen to the music at home, attend class (Year 1: 2x/month; Years 2–3: 1x/month), and assist with home practice (daily piano in Years 2–3).

Please drop off/pick up no more than 5 minutes before or after class. Early arrivals should wait on the front porch. I strive to stay on schedule out of respect for everyone’s time.

Park in the driveway (fits 5 cars) or in front of my mailbox (fits 2 cars). Drive carefully, watch for children, and follow the 25 mph speed limit.

No gum, candy, food or toys are allowed in class. Shoes need to be stored in the porch bench baskets. Sanitizer should be used upon entry.

Only enrolled students may attend class. (This includes parent days—please arrange childcare for siblings.) Young nursing babies are welcome if worn or remain in a car seat.

While I strive to maintain a safe environment, Let’s Play Music involves movement. By enrolling, you accept full responsibility for any injury or illness to yourself, your child, or guests while on Perkins Music Studio property, and release Will and Rachel Perkins from all liability.

Classes are in-person, but in emergencies, I may adjust. If ill, I’ll offer a make-up. No refunds will be given for virtual instruction, as continuity is essential for student progress.

You grant Perkins Music Studio and Let's Play Music permission to use your image (photos/videos) on their websites, social media, emails, publications, and videos. You waive rights to inspect or approve the final content and to any royalties or compensation. You may request that any image be discontinued. If you have concerns, please contact Ms. Rachel.
