Bright, Talented and Black, by Joy Lawson Davis, Ed.D.

If you want to give your principal any book on giftedness, this is it. A very good primer on the needs of advanced learners and thinkers PLUS the added perspective for Black families.

Twice Exceptional: Supporting and Educating Bright and Creative Students with Learning Difficulties, by Scott Barry Kaufman
