On Tuesday, August 28, Antipolo City National Science and Technology High School (ACNSTHS) held an election for the School Year (SY) 2024-2025 School Parent-Teacher Association (SPTA) officers on the school campus, emphasizing the importance of discussing and finding solutions for school-learner related problems.
The election was conducted from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in the ACNSTHS Ynares covered court, with Election Committee (ELECOM) and School Head Janice Maravilla leading the election together with two teacher representatives, Joel Valdez and Chin-Chin Salazar.
Elected Homeroom Parent-Teacher Association (HPTA) presidents of all sections, Faculty President, Faculty Vice President, Grade Level Coordinator, as well as the officers of Junior High School, Senior High School and SPTA were among the attendees of the election.
Furthermore, ACNSTHS School Head Janice Maravilla spearheaded the election, discussing needed information about the election, briefing the attendees with the composition, objectives, and the duties and responsibilities of SPTA officers.
The election started with the election of Grade Level Representative and Board of Directors, with the results as the following: Ma. Concepcion C. Benitez was elected as President, Susan DS Miano as Vice-President, Rufino D. Idanan, III as Secretary, and Excelsa B. Boqueo as Treasurer and the following Disbursement Officers elected were Macita Gacias, Mr. Bondad, and Mr. Mariano.
The election reached its conclusion after the Oath Taking of the newly elected SPTA officers for the year 2024-2025, vowing to abide by the guidelines issued by DepEd Order 13 s.2022 and to address key school-learner issues to enhance the learning environment at ACNSTHS.
