Clear Arévalo is a conceptual artist, employing multimedia techniques to create art, objects, videos, and installations. Her work showcases an exploration of the pervasive systems of labeling that shape or societal landscape effectively weaponize information. Arevalo invites viewers to questions the validity of the meanings we assigned to the symbols around us and their influence on their individual and collective id. 

Her practice is deeply rooted in experience within. The Porter region, where she continuously explores themes of cultural, hybridity and personal narrative through a variety of media, including the fabrication of art, objects, video, installation, and digital art.

Cleo is a faculty member at El Paso community college where she shares her passion for art with the next generation of creatives.
